Settings & Instructions

Printer Type

Compatible with FDM/FFF and Resin/UV/DLP printers.

For maximum detail and smoothness, resin printing is recommended.

For budget-friendly printing, FDM works well with proper settings and post-processing.

File Format & Texture

Model format: OBJ (with attached texture file).

Texture format: Usually .JPG or .PNG, located in the same folder as the OBJ.

Material Recommendation

FDM: PLA+ or Silk PLA for a smooth, glossy finish. White PLA is best if you plan to apply the texture as a decal or paint manually.

Resin: Standard or ABS-like resin for sharp details.

How to Use the Texture

Import Model into your slicer (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Chitubox, Lychee, etc.).

Place the texture file in the same folder as the OBJ.

If your slicer supports texture mapping (e.g., Cura with special plugins, Bambu Studio, or color-mapping tools), apply the texture in the material settings.

For FDM printers without direct texture printing capability, print in white/neutral color and use the texture as a vinyl decal or painting reference.

FDM Printing Settings

Layer height: 0.12 – 0.16 mm for detail, 0.2 mm for faster print.

Nozzle: 0.4 mm (0.25 mm for ultra-fine detail if available).

Infill: 15–20% (Gyroid or Grid pattern recommended).

Supports: Enable for overhangs greater than 50°, tree supports recommended.

Cooling: 100% fan after first 5 layers for PLA.

Resin Printing Settings

Layer height: 0.03 – 0.05 mm.

Orientation: Tilt 30–45° for better surface finish.

Supports: Light/medium supports as required.

Post-processing: Wash in IPA, cure 2–3 minutes per side.

Finishing Tips

FDM prints can be sanded and primed before painting.

Use acrylic paints to match the provided texture colors if printing in single color.

Apply a clear coat to protect colors and give a glossy finish.
