*Virgin Mary face 3d printable model cnc*Model formats : stl,fbx,obj,3mf Mary was a Jewish woman from Nazareth in the first century, recognized as the wife of Joseph and the mother of Jesus. She holds significant importance in Christianity and is honored under various titles, including virgin and queen, many of which are referenced in the Litany of Loreto. The Eastern and Oriental Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran denominations regard Mary, as the mother of Jesus, as the Mother of God. The Church of the East has historically referred to her as Christotokos, a designation still utilized in the liturgy of the Assyrian Church of the East. Perspectives on Mary within Protestantism differ, with some attributing her a lesser status.

In Islam, Mary occupies the highest position among women and is mentioned frequently in the Quran, including a chapter dedicated to her. She is also honored in the Baháʼí Faith and the Druze Faith.

The synoptic Gospels identify Mary as Jesus' mother. The accounts in Matthew and Luke portray her as a virgin chosen by God to conceive Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Following Jesus' birth in Bethlehem, she raised him in Nazareth and was present in Jerusalem during his crucifixion and with the apostles after his ascension. Although the Bible does not detail her later life, Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and some Protestant traditions believe that her body was assumed into heaven at the conclusion of her earthly existence, a belief known in Western Christianity as the Assumption of Mary and in Eastern Christianity as the Dormition of the Mother of God.

Since the early days of Christianity, Mary has been venerated and is often regarded as the holiest and most significant saint. There exists a variety of beliefs and devotional practices concerning Mary across major Christian traditions. The Catholic Church maintains specific Marian dogmas, including her Immaculate Conception and her bodily Assumption into heaven. In contrast, many Protestants hold less elevated views of Mary's role, often citing a perceived lack of biblical evidence for several traditional Christian doctrines related to her.
