The Historical Iron CoreThe Klappvisor bascinet was an iconic piece of 14th-century European medieval armor. Favored by knights and men-at-arms, its close-fitting steel construction provided superior protection, while the single-hinged Klappvisor allowed the wearer to lift the faceplate for better visibility and communication.
Based on the original historical artifact housed at The MET Museum, this design perfectly balances brutal defense with knightly practicality.
Version 2 Upgrades: Forged in DetailThis V2 release takes the high-poly mesh to a premium level. I have integrated intricate, hand-sculpted ornamental lines along the skull and visor. Combined with realistic as-forged surface pitting and heavy-duty rivets, this digital sculpt delivers a highly authentic, battle-hardened aesthetic right off the print bed.
