DESCRIPTION

This is a highly detailed model of a Floating Pier or Dock commonly found on lakes and rivers. (Pier model only, no environment, boats or furniture included due to lack of copyright to distribute them.)

This was modeled in 3ds Max 2023. The textures are done in V-Ray. I don't supply materials compatible with other renderers but if converters don't work well for you, I've provided a generic FBX and OBJ models for you to texture yourself using the reference renders I am including. The renders represent a variety of ways this model can be used and incorporated into your designs and artwork. Again, the environments, boat, plants and furniture are NOT INCLUDED as I can only sell and distribute models I build and have copyright to.

I'm also including 3ds Max versions 2022, 2021 and 2020 for backwards compatibility. Note that some meshes may misbehave as Max 2023 has some Edit Poly improvements that may not be fully backwards compatible.

However, the model is lit. As an added bonus the lights on the Pedestals are set up for beautiful evening and night shots. And, the string of Edison bulb lights around the railing is included and is lit as well.

The model includes the pier, decking, light bollards, railing and string lights around the upper railing. It also includes a boat lift as a freebee. This is a model I sell individually but I included it here for your use.

All objects and materials are named. There are no giant lists of default names. Components are grouped into layers to further assist using the model efficiently.

This not intended to be a Low Poly model. However, effort was made to keep it as small as possible and still maintain the overall high-quality aesthetic. This model is extremely suitable for closeups.
