Type 075 amphibious assault ship (NATO code name: Yushen-class landing helicopter assault [Note 1]) is a large amphibious assault ship under construction by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy. This ship is the largest amphibious assault ship of the People’s Liberation Army Navy with a hangar. It can carry nearly 30 helicopters of various types, has a direct deck, can take off and land multiple helicopters at the same time, and has a docking bay. It can be used as a mother ship for amphibious vehicles, landing craft, and air cushion landing craft, and can transport soldiers, infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, etc. Landing operations will greatly enhance the amphibious combat capabilities of the PLA Navy.
