TKs Viking Longboat V2 3D model

This is the second and updated version of my fully equipped, high detailed, textured and animated model of a Viking longboat, plus animated ocean and a pier with nice models of barrels, fishing nets and other stuff.

This version is a native 3DS Max 2020 scene, shaded for Redshift, the ocean is done with PhoenixFD.

The boat is modeled in real-scale and is 16m long. Most of the parts are meshsmooth-conform.

The sail and nearly all (hires) ropes are animated with mCloth and ready to bake. The boat itself is animated with a noise modifier for a slightly roll. The finn contains also some modeled low poly mussels, as well as a bank of barnacles etc.

The model and its textures can stand resolutions up to 4k in middle distance and some parts also in closeup. The dragon head is hires, unwrapped and well textured, the neck and head are textured with a displacement-map. Theres also a low poly and meshsmooth-conform version of the head available for purchase.

Textures are up to 6k and saved as jpg 85-100%, png, tga and/or hdr.

The mCloth objects work as a Skin-Wrapper for the hires ropes and the sail.

Every object is well named, the scene is divided into separate layers. There are some cameras and a sun and dome inside for immediately getting a look, of what youve bought.

If you're searching for more affordable versions... here we go: In my portfolio theres also a light version of the boat, which isnt animated and doesnt contain textures. Version 1 (Full Longboat) of the model (without ocean) is also available for 3DS Max 2014 and VRay 3 (or above)
