DESCRIPTION

Small Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) - Darrieus Helix - animated

This small wind generator was modelled after a standard model with 1m rotor height, well suited to be placed in city environment, on roofs or on top of poles, etc. The blades were modelled exactly after an actual correct airfoil profile (NACA 0018). So one could use this model as a base for 3D-printed parts to build a real DIY turbine!

Native file (NURBS) is Cinema4D (animated).
Exchange files for other software are included.
No textures.
