In 2014, after the start of the War in the east of Ukraine, the camouflage pattern was refined and given the name — MM-14 (Camouflage pattern of the 2014 model - Малюнок маскувальний зразка 2014 року).
In May 2014 in at. Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Koval announced that the Ukrainian army has stopped purchasing Dubok camouflage. and already in the summer of 2014, a new version of camouflage, called MM-14, was introduced to replace it. In December 2014, samples of fabrics, equipment and shoes for uniforms of the new model were presented to the military-political leadership. On July 15, 2015, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the list of items of the Combat uniform set of servicemen, which includes 65 units of military clothing, equipment and personal protective equipment, and the new Ukrainian MM-14 camouflage was included in this list. It was presented by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and, in addition to the official name Camouflage MM-14, received the unofficial nicknames Powder-1 and Geleteika. The first uniforms with the new MM-14 camouflage were given to ATO fighters, and later all units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received the new uniform.Authentic and unique pattern developed in substance designer.
