Sputnik 1 inspired artificial space satellite

Sputnik 1 inspired artificial space satellite 3D model

Description

This is a model inspired by the Soviet union's satellite Sputnik 1 that orbitetd Earth in year 1957.

On first glance it is a simple looking item but filled with smaller details if you look closer, consisting of a spherical body from which 4 legs/antennae are protruding. the body and its limbs are a combination of several metallic materials with varying relfective and coloristic qualities. Every texture is procedural and all materials are entirely made using blender's native shader editor. I simulated burnt and damaged metal on top of the satellite's main body which we could emagine was caused by traveling through space at very high speeds. This model is good for close up renders, the metallic body is very interesting to look at from various angles. Objects are all separated and the modell can be dissasambled. Model is made in its real size (58cm radius of spherical body), is zeroed in on x:0,z:0,y:0 31000 verts 28000 faces If you are interested in this 3d model please contact : saricanto0@gmail.com for buying and paying options and commissions for other freelance projects.
