Rocketdyne F-1 Rocket Engine

Rocketdyne F-1 Rocket Engine 3D model

Description

This 3d model is a low to medium polygon model with lots of detail. It is built for video presentation of a model Saturn V. The animation of this engine and the Saturn V rocket are in use in an animation of the Saturn V launch at the Huntsville based Space and Rocket Center. The model uses simple textures and can be adapted to other spacecraft or sci fi projects you may have in mind. This rocket motor is also included in our Saturn V models also available in our public sale libraries.

The Rocketdyne F-1 Rocket engine remains the largest rocket engine ever produced. It was designed in the late 1950s and used in the Apollo program for the Saturn V 1st stage section. Five of these huge engines were used in the first stage of the Saturn V. Each rocket would produce 1,746,000 lbf (vac) and 1,522,000 (sl)
