The Paris Class was designed by the same manufacturer as the Charon Class Heavy Frigate model, using the same compartmentalized assembly of parts but with a smaller hanger and more armaments'. Its smaller hanger and stern section are designed for a single dropship and largely streamlined for mass deployment of ODSTs in large numbers; due to its lighter weight and more firepower, the Paris class is faster than the Charon Class and, in turn, best used for rapid deployment of ODST's behind enemy lines.
