The sizes of the Sun and the planets are 1:1000 scale. It means 1 mm of 3d space (in 3ds max) is 1 meter in real life. For example, the Sun has a diameter of 1391016 km, the 3d model of the Sun is 1391,016 mm. All scaled exactly.

The planets are lined in the order of their orbits around the Sun.

Includes FBX, Obj, Blender, Maya, 3ds, max files and textures.

Planets in the order from closest to farthest from the Sun:

Sun: Diameter 1391016 km. Latin name - Solis. The star in our Solar System that other planets go around.

Mercury: Diameter 4879 km. The smallest planet and the closest to the Sun. Named after the Roman god of trade. Year - 88 Earth days. Distance from the sun - 59.91 million km.

Venus: Diameter 12104 km. Scans of atmosphere and surface available. Named after the Roman goddess of beauty. Year - 224,7 Earth days. Distance from the Sun - 108.2 million km.

Earth: Diameter 12742 km. Our home, the Blue Planet. Year - 365 days. Distance from the Sun - 149.6 million km.

Moon: A satellite of the Earth. Diameter 3474 km. Orbits the Earth in 27.3 days, orbits the Sun in 365 days, same as the Earth. Distace from the sun - approximately the same as the Earth.

Mars: Diameter 6779 km. Named after the Roman god of war due to it's red color. The most possible planet for human colonies. Year - 687 Earth days. Distance from the Sun - 227.9 million km

Jupiter: Diameter 139822 km. The largest planet in Solar System. Named after the Roman king of the gods. Consists mostly of gases like helium and hydrogen. Could have a rock core. Has moons, some larger than the Earth. Year - 12 Earth years Distance from the Sun - 778.6 million km.

Saturn: Diameter 116464 km. Named after the Roman god of wealth and generating. The second largest planet in the Solar System. Consists of gases, has rings. Year - 29 Earth years. Distance from the Sun - 1.434 billion km.

Uranus: Diameter 50724 km. Named after the primal Greek god, who personifies the sky. The third largest planet in the Solar System. Has rings around it. Year - 84 Earth years. Distance from the Sun - 2.871 billion km.

Neptune Diameter 49244 km. Named after the Roman god of the sea and water. Has blue color. Year - 165 Earth years. Distance from the Sun - 4.495 billion km.

Pluto: - not considered a 9th planet anymore, due to it's chaotic orbit. Diameter 2377 km. Named after one of the names for the ruler of the Underworld in classical mythology. Year - 248 Earth years. Average distance from the Sun - 5.906 billion km.
