DESCRIPTION

This is one model with different eye materials. You can duplicate the model to have all the cores in the same scene.

A fully-rigged and customizable personality core model, based off those from Portal 2.

If you wish to use the FBX, each texture used is provided. I baked the procedural eyes to textures as well.

Tips for usage:

  • If you select the eyepiece object, you can choose from any of the corrupted core eyes. You can also create custom eyes using the custom building blocks to each of the original core's eyes. If you think the defaults are a little off, change them.
    • A broken eyepiece is included. It's a child of the core rig; just hide the eyepiece from the render and the reveal the broken one to start using it.
    • Only use the bones farthest to the front--they control the handles, eyelids, and most importantly, the eye direction. To change the dilation of the eyepiece, scale the eye target. For quick control of the eyelids, select both and scale up or down.
    • You can tweak how much each piece rotates by changing the influence of constraints. On the eye shield bone, look at the Limit Rotation constraint. On the inner shell bone, change the Child Of constraint.
