Description

Realistic rigged model of a stethoscope. The rig uses 2 hose objects to drive the tube, which result in a smooth deformation. The shape is controlled via 3 objects: the earpiece, the chestpiece and a middle node as an additional curvature point (see presentation image and video). The main controller translates and orients the entire object. There are 2 morphs that change the opening of the earpiece (see image), which are controlled by 2 sliders, in the 3ds Max versions. Since the rig uses hose objects and a skinwrap modifier, which are proprietary of 3ds Max, it can't be exported, therefore the exchange formats (FBX and OBJ) must be rigged in the applications in which they will be used. The formats available are: 3ds Max - Arnold, 3ds Max - Vray, FBX and OBJ. The presentation images were rendered using a HDRI image from polyhaven.com, which is included.The model uses the following textures:
