Methamphetamine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant, mainly used as a recreational drug due to its aphrodisiac and euphoriant properties. Methamphetamine refers to a racemic mixture of two enantiomer forms: levo-methamphetamine (CAS: 33817-09-3) and dextro-methamphetamine (CAS: 537-46-2). Dextromethamphetamine is the stronger CNS stimulant.
