Description

A scan of a real Easter island figure (captured at the National Museum of Natural History )

Exceedingly rare, a complete statue remains today the only such figure in a public museum in the United States. These distinctive stone figures are a quintessential feature of Easter Island, or Rapa Nui. Most of them were made between the years 1100 and 1680, and are carved primarily out of volcanic tuff (solidified ash) from the extinct volcano, Rano Rarak.

It is a 3 in 1 model. You get:

  • a raw photogrammetric reconstruction model (high poly)
  • a decimated model (mid poly)
  • a decimated low poly model

All of them come in FBX, PLY and Obj formats with 4k textures (png and jpeg). Plus blender file with all 3 models.

Please note that textures on the back are not as good as on the front side.
