  • Betula papyrifera, also known as Paper Birch, is a deciduous tree commonly found in the Northwoods [3]. This tree can grow up to 75 feet tall and is characterized by its white, peeling bark. It prefers naturally moist areas with sandy or loamy soil and partial shade, but can still thrive in cooler climates with full sun exposure .
