Description
Name: Japanese Maple LowPoly
Scientific: Acer palmatum
This Variation: 1 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: A small tree or shrub growing to 6-10m tall. It is favoured by gardeners the world over, noted for its stunning autumn display. It often has multiple trunks joined close to the ground. It is favoured as a bonsai species. Native to Japan, Korea, Mongolian and South-Eastern Russia, but is extensively grown world-wide as an ornamental tree and has many thousands of cultivars. In its natural habitat it is a woodland species, found growing in the shady understory.
