Festuca Rubra: Red Fescue Festuca Rubra is a species of grass widespread across most of the northern hemisphere, as it is adaptable and tolerant of many habitats and climates. The leaves are narrow and needle-like, making it less palatable to grazing animals and livestock. It normally grows between 2 and 20 cm tall. It is commonly cultivated as an ornamental grass.
