This elegant ornamental grass set combines two iconic and highly architectural species known for their graceful movement and seasonal texture.

The central species is Celtica gigantea (also known as Stipa gigantea or Golden Oats), native to the western Mediterranean. With its upright, arching stems and golden oat-like seed heads, it creates a shimmering fountain-like effect when caught in the light or swaying in the wind.

Surrounding it are clumps of Calamagrostis acutiflora ‘Karl Foerster’, a German-bred hybrid feather reed grass celebrated for its vertical form and fine-textured inflorescences. It remains upright even in harsh conditions, making it ideal for modern and naturalistic landscaping.
