These plants are created by the very experienced modeler Konstantin Kim and sold exclusively by Xfrog. Kim (aka 3d Mentor) works in 3ds max GrowFX, and sets up shaders for Corona, VRay, and FStorm. Gardenia Jasminoides: Gardenia Gardenia jasminoides, commonly known as Gardenia, is an evergreen flowering plant of the coffee family. It originated in Asia and is most commonly found growing wild in Vietnam, Southern China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Myanmar, India and Bangladesh. Wild plants can grow up to 9 ft high, and are widely used in gardens in warm and subtropical climates. Polynesian people in the Pacific islands use the fragrant blooms in their flower necklaces, which are called Ei in the Cook Islands, Hei in French Polynesia and Lei in Hawaii. Gardenia flowers can be eaten raw, pickled, or preserved in honey. The fruit has crocin which is used as a yellow dye found in the production of clothes and food.
