DESCRIPTION

These plants are created by the very experienced modeler Konstantin Kim and sold exclusively by Xfrog. Kim (aka 3d Mentor) works in 3ds max GrowFX, and sets up shaders for Corona, VRay, and FStorm. ALL plants, for the first time EVER, have GrowFX (gfx) files included, and WIND, and all models and wind can be procedurally edited! Polycounts range from 100k to 600k.

Populus Canadensis: Carolina PoplarPopulus Canadensis, also known as the Canadian or Carolina Poplar, is a naturally occurring hybrid between Populus Nigra and Populus Deltoidea. It is native to the Northern US, and can grow to heights of 130 ft. Poplars produce a great deal of seed wool, which can resemble snow when the tree is completely covered. The cottony masses seen floating through the air are often associated with allergies, as people confuse them with pollen, but they are actually the seeds. These usually come from female clones that release them in late spring or early summer, wrapped in a cottony cover that helps them to be dispersed by the wind.
