DESCRIPTION

The most common hand weapon among the Vikings was the axe - swords were more expensive to make and only wealthy warriors could afford them. The prevalence of axes in archaeological sites can probably be attributed to their role not only as a weapon, but also as a common tool

The shield was the most common means of defense. The sagas specifically mention linden wood for shield construction, although tomb finds mainly show other woods such as spruce, alder, and poplar with steel or iron chief of the shield

this is the second package of Viking weapons for games has two types of axe and a shield developed in blender and textured in substance painter
