*This is a game ready, realistic 3d low poly model of a Soviet bounding anti-personnel fragmentation mine with 360-degree coverage OZM-4, with PBR textures. Originally created with Blender*
When the fuse is triggered, the flame ignites a powder delay element, which, through the central ignition tube, sets off the ejection charge composed of a gunpowder block. This charge propels the mine’s warhead to a height of approximately 0.4 to 1.4 meters. Detonation occurs after the mine bounces, activated by a tension wire—one end of which is attached to the mine’s base, and the other to the internal detonator. If the mine fails to reach the required height, it does not explode at all. The damage is inflicted by the fragmentation of the mine’s casing. The explosion occurs at a height of 0.4 to 1.4 meters, and the fragments are capable of injuring even soldiers lying on the ground. Cast iron is used instead of steel for the fragments because it does not deform upon impact with the human body, causing significantly more severe injuries than steel. These fragments leave ragged wound channels behind.
