DESCRIPTION

This is a realistic model of the AH64 Apache Helicopter. It is modeled to scale, unwrapped, textured and packed as a .Blend file using the Cycles engine. The model is broken up into it's main components from a texturing point of view including:

  1. The fuselage
  2. The cockpit
  3. Wings, with Hydra 70 Rockets and Hellfire missiles
  4. Rotors, main and back
  5. Undercarriage, wheels and peripherals

All shaders are Principled shaders within Cycles.

  1. Scene:You will notice that the scene is made from individual elements including:AH 64 Helicopter - Layer 1Render Cameras - Layer 2Render Cameras (Cockpit only) - Layer 4Ground plane with shadow catch enabled (Layer 10)

  2. Scale:The helicopter is modeled to scale with all scale modifications, transforms and locations being reset.

  3. Textures:Included is a single Diffuse image:General size: 1024x1024Smallest size: 515x512 (cockpit interior)Format JPG

  4. Render engine:Cycles, Blender 2.79

  5. Selection and importing:The helicopter have been grouped for ease of selection:For ease of integration into another scene Append as a group rather than mesh or object:File>Append>Group>AH64_Attack_Helicopter
