Hey I just wanted to say, thanks for making this model! When I was a kid, I used to play a lot of sword-based adventure games with friends, and I had a whole bunch of plastic swords. This one in particular was one that I owned, and I have a lot of memories with it. It was kind of “the” sword. So I bought this model, and I’ve put it into Blade & Sorcery. In VR, this sword feels 100% like an adult-version of the sword I used to have, and it feels great to re-live that memory, in a way. Once I’m finished tweaking things and making it feel as good to use as possible, I’ll upload it and link the mod page and a video of it in action, here for you to see. Here’s a picture of the plastic sword I used to have: http://www.ocostumes.com/htc/15dg15003.jpg The details are shockingly similar, down to the worn down metal near the end of the blade. And, the differences in your model make the whole thing look so much better. I also really appreciate how low the polygon count is.
