Melted candle and rustic candle holder

Melted candle and rustic candle holder 3D model

Description

A high detailed melting candle with a rustic candle holder. The wax has been hand sculpted with reference to real melting wax and the weathered candle holder is also based on a realworld object. It includes a flame tip and candle wick. The flame tip can be removed if you wish to add your own particle driven flame or you can choose to apply your own look. The Blender file includes a simple shader node setup allowing you control over the tranparency and colour of the flame component, from tip to base. Tip: the flame element is a little heavy on the poly count (a by product of subsurf), however, this is easily reduced or replaced with your own solution if you so desire. The Blender file includes subsurface scattering for the wax, as you can see in the product shots.

The model is provided in the following formats:

  • .blend (Blender v2.81)

  • .obj

  • .mtl

  • .PNG 4k textures

The model has been texured in Substance Painter and rendered in Blender v2.81 Cylces render engine. The model is UV unwrapped.

Polygon count: 211,328 Vertices: 105,6911

Hi, could you tell me how many polygons this has if you remove the flame? I'm looking to use this for AR, wondering if it's too detailed. Thanks
