The outlines of the armchair follow the outline of the Yubileinoye cookie, invented and made in Moscow at the beginning of the last century for the imperial family. The individuality of its lines inspired designers to create a piece of furniture with the same name. Armchair 55° - 37° YUBILEYNOE is a kind of homage to the confectionery traditions of pre-revolutionary Russia that have survived to this day. Today, its form is recognized by many. ARCHIPÉLAGO designers created this chair specifically for the Bolshevik business center, and the coordinates indicated in the title are 55°46 N. and 37°34 E - correspond to the location of the factory itself.Developed by architects of ARCH(E)TYPE bureau, Russia.
