DESCRIPTION

These lotus lanterns are a form of lantern unique to Nanjing, China. They are usually used during the Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival to decorate rooms or for children to play with. These lanterns are made of bamboo, wire, and paper. Candles are used as the light source. Rabbit lanterns are a widespread form of lantern in China, and usually have wooden wheels underneath so that children can drag them around.
