DESCRIPTION

Hi! I hope everyone is enjoying their week. Thank you for checking out my work.

The ROBOTIC CHAIR and it's advanced user-friendly rig can be used for game design, animation, environment design and concept art. The rig is very flexible, straightforward and easy-to-pose. The rig has been simplified into a few bones with an optimal movement range to prevent any clashes. You can easily move the chair along the rail, rotate the whole rail, or even rotate the whole robot arm. And you can animate the robotic leg.

The model is game-ready with 2k PBR textures.

Please watch the preview video to check out what the rig is capable of and how it works.

The elements of the model:

  • The chair.
  • The rail.
  • The chair holder (A mechanical system attaching the chair to the rail).
  • The arm (Holding the rail and the chair).
  • The leg.
  • Knee hinge (Attaching the arm to the leg).
  • The pistons (Attached to the chair holder and the knee hinge).

The native software is Blender. And any animation made using the rig can be baked and exported from Blender. The files contain a rigged version and a non-rigged version of the model.

Enjoy!:)

Note : The rig has been simplified into a few bones to make the animation process straightforward. If you'd like to have a look at the full rig, you can simply unhide all of the bones in Blender by pressing ALT + H on your keyboard.
