DESCRIPTION

Basic planetary gearbox with 3 degrees of freedom.

Goal was to make protoype that can be use in real life but also in educational purposes , as it can represent 3 different mechanical gear trasmisions. This model was made with all neccecery parts around 200 parts. After making 3D model in SolidWorks we made prototype using Ultimaker 2+ 3D printers to test functionality, with more than 100 3D printed parts in combination with standard parts ( bearing, blots, nuts, retaining ringa..). Prototype parts were printed using 4 Ultimaker 3D printers including 2+ and 3.

3D model was designed and 3D Printed by CGPdesign member Jasmin Smajic.

Renders by Adi paX Pandzic.

Here you can download full 3D model in Solidworks 2017, and 3D Print this full model.

Thats a cool model, pieces are made with "splines", if you use it with CAD software you can reshape it easily or just convert it to poly and render in 3Ds Max without any issues.
