DESCRIPTION

High Quality 250ml Drink Can 3D model with droplets and drips

A meticulously crafted 3D model of a 250ml Drink Can modeled to emphasise realism, appetite apeal, and desirability. Perfect for high end product renders of energy drinks or soft drink brands where a delicious and refreshing drink can with condensation is needed.

The can has been modeled strictly to the standard 250ml drink can specifications (also often refered to as a 'Slimline' can in the industry) and had been dimensioned at real world scale.

A large amount of time has been devoted to perfecting the size, quantity and distribution of the condensation droplets and drips so they're represented in a true to life proportion to the can body itself (most 3d models of this type have the droplets at a far too small scale resulting in final renders that make the can look comically oversized) while also not obsuring or overpowering any graphics or branding that may be applied to the can. The aim here is to display the cans design in it best light rather than making the can itself the hero.

2 Versions of the can have been supplied:

  • with Drops (i.e. features the larger drops running down the can)
  • without Drops (i.e. just the smaller droplets)See preview images #3 and #4

With both supplied versions are formatted as:

  • .C4D (native)
  • .3DS
  • .FBX
  • .OBJ

The model is composed entirely of quads, ensuring clean subdivision and smooth surfaces. It is provided as simplified and logically named separate mesh objects with split mesh objects for the front, back and top droplets (this is important to optimise and improve render times as it allows you to easily switch off, say, the back droplets if they're not going to be seen by the camera thereby saving significant calculation time)

PBR texture maps have been supplied (all 4k 8bit).

HDR map supplied see: '250ml_Drink_Can_w_Water_Droplets_HDR_raw.exr' used in the preview renders you see here (although some additional lights may be needed depending on your render engine you're using). No scene or additonal lighting steup supplied.

ARTWORK TEMPLATE .PSD SUPPLIED see: '250ml_Drink_Can_w_Water_Droplets_CAN_BaseColor_TEMPLATE'. Use this to apply graphics prior to rendering. See example preview renders (red renders).

Other specifications:

  • Polycount: 935360
  • Verticies: 951555
  • All quads (subdividable)
  • All mesh objects are manifold
  • Model is fully UV mapped

This model is an ideal asset for product designers, marketers, and 3D artists looking to use a high-quality, already set up drink can model in their next project.

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras

Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal
Learn more
No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.

Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
