This product is a large-scale, high-density forest environment designed for cinematic rendering and advanced Blender workflows.
The terrain was created using TrueTerrain and baked with Abake, including:
UV Map
Splat Map (used for vegetation distribution)
Vegetation scattering is handled with G-Scatter (free add-on), using 23 different assets including trees, shrubs, rocks, mushrooms, ground plants, and vegetation variants.The scatter is splatmap-driven, ensuring no incoherent placement on rocky areas, with subtle mushroom variation on stone surfaces.
Terrain Shading
The terrain uses a shader-based material (non-PBR) optimized for large-scale environments and dense vegetation, ensuring stable performance and controlled memory usage while maintaining strong visual realism in final renders.
Vegetation Detail
All vegetation assets are provided at LOD3 quality, prioritizing silhouette accuracy, geometry detail, and stable deformation for cinematic and close-to-mid range shots.This environment is not intended for aggressive LOD reduction or real-time use. (via GScatter – free plugin)
Wind Animation (via GScatter – free plugin)
All vegetation includes wind animation driven by Geometry Nodes (rotation-based), using consistent parameter values across assets to ensure coherent motion.
