DESCRIPTION

It is a Dutch Colonial house on Long Island, New York. More specifically, it is 112 Ocean Ave. It is commonly know as the Amityville Horror House. Why horror? Back in 1974, some crazy head decided to shoot the other 6 memebers of his family. We remember the loss of the Defaeo family as they see life on the great beynd :'( The man in the photo is the one responsible for the tragety. BUT don't let that discourage you from downloading this authenticlly acurate model. It is a great house with 6 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and with a uniquely interesting central atrium. It's even got a basement (access under stairs). I certainly see this as a classic architectural find. I can asure you that the model is structurally correct, the dimensions are accurate, and the coloring is up to par. I admit, I don't have the intricate wall paper patterns but I used a similar color in replacement. The house looks fairly different for it has been remodeled substantially since the murders. I didn't find enough sources to make an accurate today's house but had plenty for the 1974 version. Enjoy it. Oh, yeah, it includes all built-ins (except the bar in sunroom), it remains unfurnished. I hope you can turn this haunted wonder into a home. I have a Facebook page that might be of interest to you so if you want to, click the link below :)
