Description
A massive, massive (!) megapack of Mughal Indian architecture, with various samples of secular and religious architecture from India's early modern era, featuring mainly the Indo-Saracenic style of Mughal India, but also other contemporary architectural forms as well - particularly southern Chinese and early modern Southeast Asia - complete with spec and normal maps to match, for realism.
However, it isn't just Mughal public architecture that is featured - bourgeois and lower class structures are also included, albeit in lowpoly format.
NOTE:
This packet contains the following parts
LOD0 collection:
- Wall sections - inspired by the greatest of all Mughal monuments, the Shahi Qila of Lahore, Pakistan; and the Lal Qila of Delhi, India.
- 6 noble residences / public buildings
- 3 mosques
- 3 Hindu temples in both southern and northern styles
- 10 South Chinese style houses (diaolou)
- Various parts - tombstones, chapel pavillions, towers, etc
LOD1 collection:
- Over a dozen Afghan / mud wall buildings (structures, wall segments and towers)
- 6 attap-roofed village structures (2 warehouses, 4 shanties)
Walls and tombstones are in modular format as are gates and tower sections. Some of these buildings are multipart constructions with a tri count as high as 500-600k. For this reason, they may have been broken apart into different sections, for use in game projects.
Renders at the end of the gallery are for promotional purposes only. Only exterior structures are included in this megapack.
USAGE:
Some assembly is required, as doors may be kept separate from their corresponding meshes for archival purposes. Most of the items are arranged according to textures used, although doors will use different textures - review README.txt within the included archive for further info.
