Juan Agustín Boneo granted permission to establish a foundation in Rosario of the Order of Discalced Carmelites. Acquire land in Avenida Pellegrini 1565 being the Ing. Agustín Grondona who designed the building housing the Congregation for the Friars. Thus the June 24, 1927 the official ceremony of the installation of the Discalced Carmelites was made. The original small chapel was soon limited to accommodate the increased activity of the parish, so that the current temple project whose foundation stone was laid and blessed on May 17, 1932 by the then Vicar General. Mons. Andrés Olaizola. Romanesque style projected Modernized combines elegance with the austerity of the Gothic details getting the whole work a sober atmosphere of recollection according to destination. Its silhouette has been known for decades in the skyline Av. Pellegrini until unfortunately, so has recently been partially overshadowed by the neighborly of a new 22-story building whose construction permit betrays a lack of urban criteria prevails in some areas of our Municipal Administration ... Paradoxically, the building of the parish is incorporated into the Plan for the Preservation of Urban Heritage Protection grade 1b category A
