DESCRIPTION

The Robotic Arm model was created in 3ds Max, using Arnold Material Shaders.

It is rigged with Bones and an IK system to three controller objects. The claw opens/closes via a custom attribute instanced to all controllers, making it very easy to animate.

It includes a Lab environment.

Lighting is via an included HDRI Arnold Skylight. Plus an additional overhead area light to help show off the specular reflections. The overall look is that of a production quality model.

The entire model is high poly at around 900k polys.

All elements of the mesh, bones, rig, controllers, lighting, cameras, environment are logically labelled and seperated to their own layers.
