I’m excited to share my latest 3D modeling project — a highly detailed 3D recreation of the ASUS ROG Chakram gaming mouse!
This project focuses on capturing the precision, design, and aesthetics of one of ASUS’s most advanced gaming peripherals. My goal was to faithfully replicate the Chakram mouse in 3D, showcasing its signature ergonomic design, built-in joystick, and customizable RGB lighting.
Project Overview:
The ASUS ROG Chakram stands out for its innovation and versatility, offering a wireless connection, programmable controls, and unmatched comfort for gamers. In this 3D model, I focused on accurately reproducing:
The geometry and proportions of the original product.
Realistic materials and textures that reflect the mouse’s premium matte and metallic finishes.
Functional details such as button placement, scroll wheel design, and RGB lighting zones.
Photorealistic rendering that brings the product to life.
Workflow:
Modeled in 3ds Max, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered using Blender. Each component was crafted to reflect ASUS’s authentic design language with a focus on realism and precision.
Goal:
The aim of this project was to enhance my product visualization and rendering skills, producing a model that could seamlessly fit into a professional marketing or concept showcase.
