Cute Robot 3d Character created with Blender. The model is rigged, and is rendered in the Eevee render engine.
Rigging:
The model is not rigged with bones. It's rigged with a basic mechanical rigging setup. Objects are parented to other objects, and certain object transforms are locked. Select the objects and rotate them to pose and animate the robot. Select the large wireframe cube to move the entire robot. The wheel is also rigged with a transformation constraint. Move the entire robot forward and the robot's wheel will automatically rotate.
Face Rigging:
The eyes and mouth are rigged with shape keys. Select the mouth or eyes and locate the shape keys on the object data properties. Then change the shape keys to move, pose, and animate the face.
Materials:
The materials are all created procedurally with Blender's procedural shader nodes.
Render Engine:
The robot is rendered in Eevee, but it also works in Cycles.
