Silver the Hedgehog (シルバー・ザ・ヘッジホッグ Shirubā za Hejjihoggu?) is a character who appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog who travels back in time from two hundred years in the future to the present. His goal is to preserve peace in his future by resolving the disasters of the past, resulting in frequent interactions with Sonic the Hedgehog and other denizens of the time. For his missions, Silver uses powerful psychokinetic abilities, which in his time are considered the norm, and which allow him to manipulate physical objects with the power of his mind.[10]
