Peter B. Parker was born in Queens, New York City, and was raised by his uncle Ben and aunt May. As a teenager, he was bitten by a radioactive spider, giving him super-strength, durability, and the ability to stick to flat surfaces, and after losing his uncle, he learned that with great power, comes great responsibility. Donning a web-covered costume and wrist-mounted web-shooters, became the hero known as Spider-Man.
