This is a 3D model of the fantasy creature that lurks in the caves beneath earth. The creature digest food through the unbilicar cord that is detachable from the tail. The cord is attached to the egg that stores vital products.

The model is textured with 4K tektures: Base Color, Roughness, AO, Normal and Height. There are 5 sets of textures:

  • Monster

  • Egg Holder

  • Egg

  • Gum, Teeth and nails

  • Eyes.Eyes come as 2K textures with two different iris colours - blue and green that can be changes with the shift of the uv map.

The model is rigged and has two animations: eating and walking tha can be checked in the provided youTube link. Unfortunatelly, it is added as a short video. The rig is complex due to number of eyes in the model. Each eye is driven by the indyvidual bone. Eyelids respond to the movement of the eye ball similarly to waht rigify provies, although it is not a rigify rig. You can close of open eyelid of the indyvidual eye independently. Eyes have shapekeys to correct movement of the eyelid while closing. Each arm have an IK rig set, therefore it is easy to manipulate the position of arms. Each finger is also set for the IK control. The movement of particular parts of the model triggers movements of other parts. For instance, the corners of the mouth moves bones at cheeks. Creature can eat with side biting and the face will proportinally deform. The mouth is an independent object with fully texterued interior. Teeth are indyvidual objects with roots. There is a great variation of types of teeth following human anatomy.

The model has a set of two animations, however it should be easy to make more for game design. In many aspects the model is similar to what can be found in Rigify addon of Blender. There are IK controlling bones and tweak bones. Eyes are controlled by the position of controller. While moving it the eye follows. It is not neccessary to animate each bone of the model separatelly.

Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras

Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal

No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.

Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.

Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.

UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
