DESCRIPTION

Disclaimer: This is in no way affiliated with Pat Benatar. These outfits are recreations and may not look exactly as they had appeared in references I found, but will be pretty close. I am a fan of her work, and this is my way of honoring her legacy as a musician. You can easily google her outfits to see the references I used.

Is your character a rock star? Do you like rocking out to your favorite tunes?

80s Icon Series - Pat Bentar are inspired recreations of some of her outfits she wore on stage.

You can mix and match different types of outfits with different colors for each garment!

Currently, the following colors are available: Red, Cyan, Purple, White and Black. All textures are included in the Stage --> Material folder. I have decided to go this route and save some space.

If you have issues with textures looking weird, make sure you are using the correct texture fot that item. Most items will have only a single texture to them, but others will have multple texture types for different outfit types.

Leather Leggings uses leather, nylon, and tiger striped textures

Each skirt will come with leather and fabric textures

Everything else will be quite obvious.

And lastly, ALSO INCLUDED... is a default weight map for the shirt with fringes if you want to let CC physx move them. You don't have to use this, and I would urge you to use a DCC app for animated clothing. I did not use CC Physx to animate the cloth.

NOTES:

Rendering colors will be slightly different between each DCC apps. ie, Rendering in UE will look slightly different than Redshift, Redshift different than CC5, and so on..

  • Some colors may not be available for some garments.

IF YOU HAVE ISSUES with the clothing items, such as seams not welded, please screenshot the issue and send it to me so I can fix them.

Technical Details (since I can't fit a range below). Several models are included in this pack, so here is the range:Triangles: 5144 - 96338Vertices: 2801 - 5485516 unique meshes, 81 textures...

Update 2025-11-13: FBX models are now binary. I didn't realize the textures weren't there...they are now...

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal

No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.

Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.

3D Features
PBR
Uses Physically Based Rendering materials, which give the model realistic lighting and surface properties.
Textures
The model includes image files (textures) that add color, patterns, or detail to its surfaces.
Materials
The model has material settings that define how surfaces look (color, shine, transparency, etc.).
UV Mapping
The model's surfaces are mapped to a 2D image, allowing textures to display correctly.
3D printing
Indicates whether the designer marked this model as suitable for 3D printing.
Model is not 3D printable
The designer indicates this model is intended for digital use only (rendering, animation, or AR/VR) and not for 3D printing.
Geometry
Polygon mesh
A model built from polygons (triangles or quads) connected in a mesh.
96338 polygons
The total number of polygons (flat shapes) that make up the 3D model.
/ 54854 vertices
