DESCRIPTION

These 3D models of right and left hands are made in Blender and rendered in Cycles. The models have clean geometry, non overlapping UVs. They are textured rigged and animated. The scene is organized in appropriate groups and layers, and all the meshes, bones in the rig, materials, textures, lights and camera are given appropriate names, instead of using the default names.

The left hand is a mirrored copy of the right hand and they both share the same UV map and textures. So in some of the previews only one hand is shown.

Details:

Total number of polygons: 5172 (2586 on each arm), all quads. Total number of vertices: 5176 (2588 on each arm)

UV unwrapped, UVs are non overlapping

Textures are in 4096 x 4096 resolution, PNG format. It includes the following texture maps:

  • Albedo

  • Roughness

  • Specular

  • Displacement

  • Normal

The Displacement map is 16 bit, so the details will be clearly visible without any staircase artifacts.

The models are rigged and skinned. The arms and hands have FK controls, and the fingers have both IK and FK controls. The skinning also includes corrective shape keys to get better deformations. The hands include fist animations, counting animations and a hand movement animation demo.

The models are exported in FBX and GLTF formats.

The preview images are raw renders, no color corrections or any post processing effects were used after rendering. And the scene in the source file (blend) has all the lights and camera used for the render.
