This listing is for a bodykit that emulates the real, historic, JGTC race car from 1997/1998. This model will not include the base model of the car, this will have to be sourced elsewhere. This model was made to fit an existing, widely available model, hence it is based off those parameters and is mapped similarly. Your purchase would include: a rear wing, a front windscreen banner, a new front end, fender flares, tow hook, new exhaust, mirrors and side skirts.

This will transform any existing road car model into the JGTC car. A base model should be easy to find if you wish, doing this allows me to offer this at a lower price-point. The model is suitable for low-mid poly, allowing good, reliable performance in video games, media, advertisements or other use. Textures are included for the new parts as well as a separate texture for the base model which some of these parts are mapped to. Both 1997 and 1998 textures are included, as a result of lots of work identifying and reproducing relevant sponsors. Textures are 2K & 4K, .dds format, .psd files included. Model would be easily subdivided.

Historically, the car was largely unsuccessful but nostalgic and memorable. It offered a compact, fast vehicle in a compact package. It was combined with a 3-rotor rotary engine, sourced from a Mazda RX-7 FD. It's likeness was featured in some early video games and various promotional material.
