I tried several times to model my own deer and even used the artist's YouTube video as a reference. But I quickly realized that I was out of my depth. So I purchased the model instead. The model worked for the job I was doing although I would have liked to have had some kind of material or texture to apply. I ended up using a mixture of self painted UVmap and Quick Fur to create a believable skin for the animal. Thanks :)
