DESCRIPTION

The NANOGRAM C-CLASS MODEL ROCKET is a model rocket made to use ESTES C class rocket engines and should be a total length of roughly 310mm. It has NOT BEEN TESTED YET, so files and pricing are subject to change. Please provide feedback if you decide to make this rocket.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Once all parts are printed, you need to next make the body tube. this can be made using material like cereal cardboard, or even printing paper. Make sure it it relatively stiff and must be 28mm in diameter (17/16") and smaller than 175mm (8in long).
  2. Glue In your fins onto the designated motor chamber grooves.
  3. Glue together your motor chamber to your body tube
  4. Glue in your shock cord (or any long and tough thread) to the rocket body. Cut your strip of thread to at least 10in long, and tie the end onto the back nose cone bar.
  5. Glue one of your rod guides to the body of the rocket, and another one to the designated cut-out in the motor chamber.
  6. Once ready for launch, stuff a few strips of recovery wading (or small strips of paper towel) into the body of the rocket. slide in C class rocket engine, and snap in the motor cap (it should be a snug fit, if not, then consider taping the motor chamber and motor cap together. Sorry if this is an issue, this design is still experimental)
