DESCRIPTION

The Northwestern XPG-1 Hadrian II is a high-quality, photo-real 3D model of the experimental powered glider developed during World War II. Based on the CG-4A Hadrian cargo glider, the XPG-1 was an ambitious project to provide gliders with independent takeoff and ferry capabilities by adding auxiliary engines. This asset captures the classic high-wing, fabric-over-frame aesthetic of the Allied transport gliders, modified with two small radial engines mounted on the wing struts. The model is presented in an authentic military olive drab finish with high-visibility invasion stripes and U.S. Army Air Forces national insignias.
