DESCRIPTION

This model was built near to scale within actual general dimensions. The propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gear and landing gear doors are animateable. The model is fully textured and is available in several different formats.

The Convair C-131 Samaritan was an American military transport produced from 1954 to 1956 by Convair. It was the military version of the Convair CV-240. HC-131Awas the Surplus C-131As transferred to the United States Coast Guard, VC-131A was temporary designation used before 1962 when a C-131A was used as a staff transport.
