Designed by Igo Etrich in 1910, the Taube (Dove) was famous for its inherently stable wing design, modeled after the seeds of the Zanonia macrocarpa vine. It features the signature translucent-style fabric wings with bird-like trailing edges, an intricate external wire-bracing system, and a detailed front-mounted liquid-cooled engine. The model is finished in an authentic doped linen texture with vintage wooden structural accents and period-accurate Iron Cross (Eisernes Kreuz) markings on the wings and rudder.
